Join the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and the University Club as they each commemorate 90 years of serving the greater Lansing community at this joint anniversary celebration! The evening begins with a reception and cash bar, followed by a three-course gourmet dinner at the University Club, and live music. After dinner, you’ll be whisked to the Wharton Center aboard a Dean Trailways motor coach and settle in your Zone A seats to enjoy a fantastic concert featuring the legendary Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning Audra McDonald! Upon returning to the U-Club, you’ll be treated to an afterglow reception with dessert, coffee, and cash bar.

Celebrate Lansing Symphony Orchestra’s 90th season opening night with a special performance by Audra McDonald. Highly decorated as a performer and actress on the Broadway and opera stage, as well as film and television, she has appeared in Carousel, Master Class, Porgy and Bess, and has sung with virtually every major American orchestra. An evening of American songbook favorites sung by Ms. McDonald with the full orchestra is the perfect way to kick off a new decade for the LSO!
